Hey thanks! It looks a lot better. What are you using to edit it? Photoshop?
I just thought the the sky at the top was not needed, so I cropped it, and the LS to keep the ratio.
I really don't like Photoshop! I don't find it intuitive at all, and that is likely because it was designed for graphic artists (and I'm a long-time photographer!).
I use various software as the situation and image dictates. I love the crop tool in Lightroom and used that.
I use PSE to access some PS plug-ins and one I really like is the NIK software. So I likely diffused and darkened the BG slightly, and sharpened the bird.

I cropped top and left slightly. The file was small to work with(!) but I also reduced noise, softened the BG and sharpened the bird.
Your T1i should be able to go to ISO 400 with little noise; I shoot my T2i at 800 min. for birds. It would give you a little more shutter speed.
