The “Trespasser Series” Description: Artist Camille Engel and husband, Todd, have created a bird sanctuary surrounding their home/studio. When the French doors to the artist’s studio are open, Titmice, Cardinals, Chickadees and Hummingbirds have flown into the studio toward her colorful paintings which gave the artist her idea for this series.

A whimsical comment on how people destroy birds’ natural homes by their construction invasion, this series is based upon the thought, “what if birds were to take over our living environments!?” The “Trespasser Series” is a series of paintings to depict backyard birds who have ‘trespassed’ into the artist's studio and built their nests in her art supplies.
