Dear David,

Thanks very much. No, not professional. Though at times I do work at it like a (very fun) job.

I've been at both birding and photography for less than a year and have gotten a lot of hapiness from them. Dgital photography and birding were made for each other. I mostly want people to see that it doesn't take a lot of training or extremely expensive equipment to have a great time and get some decent photos. It can look a little intimadating at first, but can be learned quickly by doing. Anyone who thinks they might like it should grab a digital camera with some zoom and go for it.
