Here is a pair of house sparrows

I just took this one yesterday at my apt. complex and thought it was so perfect - American Wigeon pair.

Thanks!  They are still a little shy as they just arrived this past week from the North but I got lucky with that shot.

Matt:
Northern Shovelers

Nice shot, Matt - is that a recent photo?  Just wondering, as the male is in his "Sunday Best" plumage, and the ones in my area don't have it yet.

The shovelers were taken in March.

Here is a Northern Pintail pair taken in February.

I hope I'm following the theme properly... Are we looking for dimorphic pairs or just pairs?

Anyway, here's a pair of Sandhill Cranes

OK, so I can't be positive they were a "pair" but the one on the left was bigger (and louder) than the one on the right. Sorry for the poor pic quality. My first red-shouldered pair, ever.

Black-bellied whistling ducks. The males and females look alike in this species.

I always feel left out on picture post because I don't get many pictures. Sad

This has been very educational for me I thank you all for the images that have been posted so they are all very good and it allows us all to see the major differences between the males and the females.

Very Cool indeed
