Alice, waterfowl are like Ducks, Geese and Swans. Sandpipers are shorebirds.

Here is one of my favorites.  the scene is this, it is early morning the sun is just about to peek over the horizon in the distance I see the silhouete of a possible new life bird.  I steathily creep up in my head thinking "could it be the elusive Wurdemanns?"    Snapped this shot and proceeded to laugh for a good five minutes :-)

Took me 45 minutes to creep up on the Blue-winged Teal. How long did it take you?  LOL  Confused

Actually, I think I spotted your Wundermanns last evening. Must be migrating!

Nice pintail picture Curlybird - they're so pretty.  I wish I had a good redhead picture - they aren't real common in western Washington
