Super cool, Lyceel! How do you create .gif files?
Take a few pics of a warbler or some other fidgety bird jumping around. Then bring each image into a separate layer in Photoshop or photoshop elements. Now, align each layer so the backgrounds line up with each other (I did OK, but not great with this in my file).
Now, check out the "Save for Web...". There is an option to save each layer in the file as a frame in an animated .GIF
The biggest problem you might run into is the post limit if you try and attach the file. I had to reduce the overall size of mine, because GIF files don't get as high a compression ratio as JPG files. If you link the image from somewhere else, you don't need to worry about this.
