Just though I'd start a new thread about one of my favorite families!

Here's a Little Blue Heron from this April.

Nice picture, Liam.....Egrets and herons are such graceful looking birds, especially when they fly! One of my favorite families is Anatidae, which includes Ducks, Geese, and Swans.

The herons are certainly well represented in this thread (nice pictures!) so I thought I would add an egret......

 Thank you  Trent , I have the Canon 7D with the Canon 500MM F 4 IS USM and also have the Canon 40D with the Canon 400MM 5.6 USM both of these are my bird cameras.
