This is a Least Flycatcher. The bird was in the greenbelt behind my house.

This is the best Flycatcher shot I have. A Great Crested Flycatcher in Hephzibah, GA.

It wouldn't be a flycatcher thread without a Black Phoebe!!  I always wonder - we have Western Kingbird and Eastern Kingbird so why don't they call this a Western Phoebe??!!

Nice photos JTee! I think the first bird photo is a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher though...

 Your correct.... ...I guess they are not in the same family, I looked them up and indeed they are of a  different  family.

Wow, I never realized that all of these Phoebes and Kingbirds are part of the Empidomax family... That is the family we're looking at, right?

I have to admit that I did check out the family of flycatchers to see what was included.  Western Washington isn't the flycatcher capital of the world.  But, yes kingbirds are in the same family as flycatchers - tyrant flycatchers.
