Any idea why it's called Cape Disappointment?

A quick history lesson!

Cape Disappointment, at the mouth of the Columbia River in Washington State, was named by a sea captain who had expected to find a good harbor just beyond it.  He was disappointed to find rocky shoals instead, and turned back...never discovering the mighty river on the other side of the shoals. Later, Lewis and Clark finished their 2,000 mile trek to the coast and celebrated their journey's end at Cape Disappointment.

Ah, okay. So 'Cape Disappointment' is somewhat of a misnomer as Lewis and Clark partied there.

Lighthouses are indeed Awesome ,we were gonna go around the Great Lakes and document every Lighthouse , but never did it there are very large numbers of Lighthouses on the Great Lakes. Couple more ;
