I was looking over the iBird website and saw that the iBird Pro Audio page has waveforms as the audio plays. Is this a future feature or something I have to turn on somewhere? My version does not display any audio waveforms.

Hi David,
You are seeing a new feature that is currently available in iBird UK and Ireland (Mitch Waite Group's first product in the international market), which was released March 30, 2011 (according to the iTunes store). The update for iBird's North American products is coming and you will be able to see these waveforms and beautiful spectrograms very soon.
I would love to give you an exact date, but Apple tests each new version of the software before approving it for sale in the iTunes store, so only they can say for sure when it will be. But it is coming!

PS - I highly recommend iBird UK! Mitch's illustrators really upped the ante with the highest-quality illustrations for every bird!
