Is there a single place/thread/website that lists the devices/models/versions of Android devices that iBird for Android is known to work or not?  I'm in the market for a 7" Android tablet to replace my printed field guide (10" is too big in the field, though great at home) and this would be very helpful info.

The Kindle Fire appeared interesting at first glance but I'm not happy with its limitations even after rooting.  The Nook Tablet (when rooted) looks very interesting.  The Ainovo Novo7 Advanced is not yet available in the US but looks very promising as well.

iBird has worked really well a motorolla Xoom and Toshiba excite tablet for me.

I like the idea of a place that lists Android devices known to be compatible with iBird. It needs to be on a web page however not a forum thread as its too hard to see a global list in a forum. We could build a table in a publially viewable google spreadsheet and pull the comments people leave on the forum however. Bigfoot you up for that task?

PS I should mention that last time I looked Google showed a list of about 1600 different devices that iBird was suppose to work with.
PPS We won't be able to guarantee just because someone gets iBird working on their device that it will work for anyone else. The platform has too many variations.

Such a list might do well to have degrees of how well it works, rather than a simple yes/no. For instance, on my rather (ahem) affordable phone, it works fine but only if you clear out a bunch of space in the limited internal storage -- you may have to give up other apps. We should also note on which phones the "move to SD" functionality does not really move to the SD card, but only to internal secondary space.

It works just fine on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 if I make space in its puny memory. (I'd love to be able to load the database on the external SD card, but that's another story.)

iBird works great on my ASUS TF201 Tablet (Transformer Prime), with the small exception that it is yet to be landscape compatible so it looks kinda funny holding it in portrait mode with the docking keyboard =)
