Find and identify the lurker (and I don't mean the Downy Woodpecker).

Wow I think I see a bird in the background but I don't have a solid guess. I guess a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. I would like to see others guess, and could we get one hint?

I think I see something big in the top right corner. It looks kinda like a turkey or some gamebird.

It's not a Flicker or a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and it is much smaller than a game bird, but I'll give a hint, it's on the left side of the picture. The only reason I saw it was because I saw it fly away and heard it call while I was in the field, even then it took me a little to find it in the picture.

I think I see it in the picture. What I see is right to the left of the tree in the middle. There is a little bird like thing perched. Than in the left corner I see what looks like an owl to me it looks like a Great-horned Owl, but I son't know about the size.

Think you're right, maybe Eastern Screech?

Ya I thought it was an owl but no one was going to agree. I think though that it is a great-horned. Though we both must be told the answer soon.

The "little birdlike thing" perched opposite the Woodpecker on the stump is the lurker, and there is not an owl in this photo (though I would be very happy if there was). This picture is a stump and was aimed slightly downward from standing position. It is not an eastern Towhee, but I will say this, it is small and loud.

I see the bird. It is the first thing I saw and to me it looked like a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. What looks like a kinglet and is very loud. And the one hint I want is were was this taking?
