My wife and I are planning on visiting her brother who lives in West Fork, Arkansas this spring.  Can anyone give me some good birding spots and what time in the spring would be the best time?  April, May?

Thanks,

Thanks Possumbird,  I have been looking online but hoped I would get some local birder to give me some hotspots that they had good luck at.

Check out Arkansas Fish and Game. They have a good web site. Their are nurmerous hot spots around ,depending on time of year. Most of the lakes in the state have hundreds or birds of all types to see. DeGray lake is great for Eagles etc. The Fish and Game people are highly devoted to wildlife and your access to it.
