I was going to say Savannah Sparrow is my best guess as well.

Congrats to Denise and ColoTomo. It is a Savannah Sparrow. I don't have another photo of it, but I had a good look before I took this shot. It turned its back just as I snapped this one, then flew off before I could get another!

I thought Savannah also. The short tail gave it away.
