I think your first one is rufous.

I'll jump in and say Anna's.  It looks a little green for a rufous - and it's still a bit early for a rufous to show up.  I usually don't get one for about 3 weeks yet

First bird is a selasphorus due to the extensive rufous on the flanks.   Rufous would be the most likely candidate.

I'd say the second is an Anna's.
