I think it is in late March and, early April.

I was asked by the Audubon directer to get a group of homeschoolers to go to Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary. I thought I would bring a group during the shorebird migration. I would love to do the warbler migration, but it is right when we are planing to really get moving. Any way I want to contact the director person to set up a date. Thanks!

::Edit:: By lead I mean help lead. Really hoping for a good time. (oh and some lifers!)

Peak is the last week of April, first week of may is best. This year is getting going early with everything else though so it could be a couple weeks earlier. Here is the eBird chart from Riverlands. http://ebird.org/ebi...5&continue.y=10

I can't wait for migration. I am getting excited just thinking about it. Warblers in the morning, shorebirds in the afternoon. Species counts nearing 100. Man I am sick of winter.

Check with eBird every now and then. For example, I can check which species have been reported in Richmond County, Ga in the last two months.
