I'm finally trying to sell my Nikon D70 (and all my other equipment, except my tripod and filters). I'm trying to find a good site I can sell them on, because Facebook and flickr won't cut it. Would eBay work? Where have you guys sold your cameras?

TIA,
Liam ;)

If you live in a relatively urban area, Craiglist or kijiji are great websites to sell used goods. If you don't live near a dense population of people, you'll probably have to sell it online and eBay is your best bet. Needs a bit of preparation to become a seller on eBay though, because you need to have a paypal account, which requires two weeks to activate I believe. And if you sell it online, you'll need to have your own bank account or get your parents on board.

I'd recommend eBay. I've sold quite a few cameras and a few pairs of optics there with good success.

Another option is Fred Miranda: http://www.fredmiran...forum/board/10.

Thanks for the replies! I could sell on Craigslist or eBay. My mom will be happy to help.

There's also Adorama and KEH.com. Both will buy used camera equipment. You'll probably get more money on ebay, but those two options will be much faster and pain-free.
