Help with ID please

Southern Manitoba, crawling along the underside of a tree forested area near a river.
Taken at about 40 feet, at first from its movements I thought it might be a Brown Creeper.
Sadly the photo won't upload,
I would delete this if I knew how.

Could you try to describe the bird?

I'll give it a try.
Looks more like a sparrow but is crawling along the underside of a tree.
Mostly brown with some white, dark eye band, dark spot on back of head, brown and gray strip on head, dark beak, tail maybe notched, one white wing band toward rear of wing, brownish legs.
Can't see much of its underside, but from what I can see it appears to be a light color and I can't see any streaking.

OK thanks, bill didn't look long enough to me and it has a different coloring to the Brown Creepers I've seen.
