There is a bird (I assume!) that calls "Jeremy? Jeremy?" around my house in the suburbs of Atlanta. I've assumed it is common, but have run through the list of anything I thought might be plausible in the iBird app, and in online sources, without finding a match.

I have a rather faint audio of it which I will try to attach here - apologies for the poor quality, it was just with my iPhone on my patio. There are other bird calls in there but the "jerWEET?" sounds at 10, 15, and 24 seconds or so are the ones I'm referring to.

I hear it morning and evening, if that helps. I only moved to the South recently, and am pretty sure I've never heard this call in the northern USA or Canada.

Thanks for any suggestions.

[The sound file is also at http://www.iayork.com/Temp/Birds.wav if there is a problem with the attachment]

My headphones are broken, so I can't listen, but based on that "jerWEET" I agree with Liam. It's a pretty distinctive call.

Thanks! That's definitely it. Much appreciated.
