Tried both the basic and advanced uploaders. Always get a message 'upload failed', with no hint as to why.
Anyone have any clues ?
Thx,...

I don't have any gallery photos. The only photos I've uploaded to this site, are from previous bird ID requests. I've tried to
locate these posts, and delete them (to see if that freed up the space), but I can't seem to delete them (I can only edit them).
Thx in advance,

Delete away and save that space.

Cant upload photos from desktop - dont use flicker. Im sorry the old site was wonderful this is awful. I tried three jpeg sozes 150 kb - 345kb - 850kb - says upload failed.
And how do you delete a post you made a mess of?
I'm sorry you are having trouble in posting.
Let's see if we can help.
If you have made a post that you do not like, you can edit the post. On the bottom right of the post there is an Edit option. Click on this option and go to advanced options and you can do whatever you want to do with your own posts.
Please post again if you are still having troubles.
Thanks

The size limit for attached photos is very low because of the cost associated with bandwidth. Have you checked out the FAQ thread? It provides information on how to post photos without the attachment feature, which makes photos easier to view anyways.I figured out how to delete photos from my prior "what bird is this?" posts, deleted all photos. went to post my new question, the ONE photo i uploaded took up my alottment, i had hoped to upload 2. This is crazy, what's going on?
If you have anymore problems, or more specific issues with this one, I'd be happy to help.

Thanks. I see the full edit option, and that does allow me to delete photos. Unfortunately, I tried deleting some, and still cannot upload. I guess the quota is really low. It'll take me too much time to go and delete all the attachments I have. Fustrating. Maybe you can create a simple way of getting under the quota limit - like a one button 'delete all my attachments'.
Try it now.
