Ambrosia, I believe, is the "nectar of the gods." In other words, something divine and too good for human consumption.
I've had morels once. A very generous friend found several and gave them away. Even though I don't like mushrooms either, I thought the morels were quite tasty!
The really great thing is that my dad likes to hunt for morels which fits in well with birding trips.
