Saw 2 different colors of Ibis: Dark/Greenish and Deep Wine/Chestnut/Bluish color at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in southeast Florida between May 27 -29, 2011.

Reviewing my guides... It looks like:
- the Dark/Greenish color ones with white lines on their necks are 1st season birds.
- the Deep Wine/Chesnut/Bluish ones are breeding adults.

Is that correct?

Thanks for your help!

You are correct in your assessment of the maturity of these birds.
