I found this on pinterest. It's labled "the white falcon." I'm thinking, that ain't no falcon. That's a red-tailed hawk. What do you guys think?

Looks like a falcon because of the color and shape of the beak, the shape of the eyes, and the mustache. But I am not going to say it is a white falcon.

I'm inclined to say Lanner Falcon based on the marking on the collar.

So that's not the hallmark belly-band of a red-tailed that I'm seeing?

I'm thinking Gyr/Lanner hybrid here. There are a lot of hybrid falcons out there. Falconers like to take different falcons with different strengths, artificially inseminate them, and get offspring with the strengths of both parents.
Red-tailed Hawks don't have black eyes, definite falcon here.

I think Sakers and Gyrs are more commonly hybridized, and that hybrid matches this bird almost perfectly.

The belly band on the Red-tailed Hawk would probably be a bit more prominent. Red-tailed Hawks don't have the streaks on the breast either.

You can never use one mark to I.D. a bird. It is definitely a falcon. Which one I don't know.

Could be, Liam. There are so many different hybrids out there I can't say for sure. This does resemble a Gyr/Lanner I have seen before, but I haven't seen a Gyr/Saker. I would think they might be a bit darker.

I can't really find any results on Google Images for Gyr x Lanner, but there are plenty of Gyr x Saker and most of them are pale, like this bird.

While I agree with the sentiment here, never is a pretty strong word... the bill of a Toco Toucan comes to mind :)
