Just seconds ago spotted my first ever leucistic bird. A mourning dove. Would have preferred a Cardinal but I can't complain. Awesome. I was just thinking the other day I wish I could see one of these and now I have.
YES! YES! YES! YES!

Are you sure it wasn't a Eurasian collared dove? They're really light. We don't really have them where I live, but I did see one once.

Nah it was definitely a mourning dove. It wasn't fully leucistic it had the mourning dove head and it was hanging out with its normal mourning dove buddy. It was mostly white but had some speckles of regular. Watch someone will tell me that's a common feature of juvenile mourning doves or something and not leucistic at all. Then i'll throw myself out of a window.

Cool!! No, juveniles usually are a little darker and more heavily marked, so you're OK!

I got an even better look at the bird again and showed some other people and it's definitely a leucistic mourning dove.

A leucistic Ring-billed gull. Now that is a cruel thing to birders.

I love mourning doves!
A little story: I went outside and saw a baby mourning dove sitting on the staircase, it wasn't moving. I left it alone and came back, but it was gone. I just hope nothing bad happened to it. I guess it was somehow dropped out of the nest because it was definitely not a fledgling.
