Need ID on a bird and then I have a question...

What is this bird? If I remember correctly, its call sounded almost like a rattle, but I'm not sure.

And why does this dove have white on its wing? I'm pretty sure its a Mourning Dove, but I've never seen one with white.

Those pink feet, spots, bluish ring around the eye and shimmery pink say male mourning dove ... with a few leucistic feathers perhaps?

Belted Kingfishers?? Awesome!! They've never been near my backyard, but all of a sudden 3 fly over today?!? So cool... But I'm still curious about the Mourning Dove, if that's what it is. Although I don't know what else it could be.

I agree with Betiam - a few leucistic feathers. And, of course, a belted kingfisher! They have a rattle-sounding call.

I hadn't even thought of it! I saw the long bill and thought woodpecker, but the call seemed off to me. Plus the fact that 3 of them were flying together threw me off.

Thanks all of your help!! :)
