Life list 226. Latest lifers: Townsend's Warbler, Gray Jay, Bullock's Oriole, White-headed Woodpecker, Cassin's Finch, Western Bluebird, White-throated Swift, Olive-sided Flycatcher and Hermit Thrush.

Looks like Double-cresteds to me. The bill is thicker than Red-faced. Color can be hard to judge on these pictures. Also note the large amount of coloration on the chin which points towards DC rather than Red-faced.

In the second photo you can see the double crests on more than a half dozen of the birds.

Some of the ones that look a little different are Double-cresteds that have grown their breeding plumage for the year - those namesake double crests.
