glossys have are accidental in this area. Sibley's places this in the range. Besides that, aren't ranges kind of in disarray this year? the red eye makes me think glossy. ..but it is kinda hard to argue with Kryptos, since he has 7715 posts...any one else?Glossy Ibis is out of range. I'd say White-faced Ibis is much more likely in Iowa.

your are right there... i miss read the book...but then, this is the first time i have seen one. thanksI agree with White-faced. (They are the ones with red eyes; Glossys always have dark eyes.)
