Small birds, well birds of all sizes, have to be on the alert at all times or they may become a meal for someone else. Thought it might make for a good thread topic. Post your "alert bird" photos here.

This golden eagle was watching 2 bald eagles soaring above him. Even the big birds have to keep an eye open.

Thanks Guy, the younger ones are a little more tolerant of us and I was hidden in the reeds near this perch that she frequently landed on.
