I agree on both counts... Barn Swallow and great photo!!

Very pretty! I wish I could stumble upon one sitting on a fence! What a treat! And nice lighting on him too.

I'm just looking forward to maybe finding one on the ground with the sun at my back instead of in my face this year.

Thank you all. I was very pleased when he stayed after I turned around to get a photo. I hade never seen one just sitting always in flight and no chance on a clear photo there.

We always have several pairs in our barn - hence, my name! When they fledge, they'll perch on the edge of the stalls and almost allow us to touch them. Of course, the parents aren't thrilled about it, so we leave them alone! I'll get some pics soon - they're nest-building now.
