So I saw this little guy in a park near San Francisco, CA at about 2:30 PM. I couldn't find anything that matched in my field guide. I would appreciate any insight you might have.

Seems to be an odd-looking Dark-eyed Junco, female . Oregon subspecies? light colored bill, you can see the white in the outer tail feathers. These are some key field marks, because there is a lot of variation possible with Dark-eyed Junco

That's funny because I saw a Black phoebe in the same park. Now I have to go back and check that it really was a phoebe and not a junco.
