I wish I had a picture, but it flew off before I could take one. It has a yellow Chest, a grey body, and two white bars on its back. A very pretty bird. kinda looked like a sort of a finch, but was a little far away, so hard to tell.

Sounds a little like Lawrence's Goldfinch. Where did you find this bird?
