I agree with this but 3 looks like a yellowlegs to me. Still working on what species. . .

If it was ever called a Willett, it's gotta be a Greater! ;)

I'm seeing 3 as a Willet, based on head shape and bill thickness and the streak pattern on the breast, but I don't really have any really field marks to go on there, just general vibes. :/

Edit: Actually, don't listen to me. The more I look at it the more I get confused.

Eye ring on #3 is characteristic of a Yellowlegs not a Willet. Agree with Greater.

I agree with Greater Yellowlegs for 3, but I can see how one could mistake it for a Willet, with it being underexposed and all.

Did they make it two species? I thought it was just Willet? I'm confused. . .

I think he was implying that he agreed with Greater Yellowlegs, because dakid had called it a Willet.

I read it as, if it was able to be confused for a willet, then it's so large and robust it has to be a Greater rather than Lesser, which is dissimilar to a Willet in proportions.

Exactly, PoorMatty. Sorry that wasn't clearer in the first place.
