This looks a little like a cowbird to me, but it has an orange beak?

General proportions are right for Cowbird. It could be a juvenile. I think a leaf is blocking the bill.

Not a Brown-headed Cowbird. This is a thrush. Can't tell which but I want to say Hermit Thrush.

Not sure what this is, but the base of the bill looks way to thick for a Thrush. Proportions do look good for a cowbird, but the bird seems to have an overall greenish tinge (could just be the photo) and a pale throat which wouldn't match up.

Having said that, I haven't a clue as to what I think it is :)

I thought it was a female tanager! But now that I look at it again, it does look like a thrush - that greenish look was throwing me.

The greenish look could be due to the photo. If the OP used flash, the green is often reflected from the leaves, or the flash could have shot through a patch of leaves, giving the photo a greenish color. I think the "pale throat" and most of the "bill" are actually obscuring leaves.

After looking again, I think you're completely right Liam. Not sure I'd be comfortable putting an ID on this one...

I would still go with female Scarlet Tanager -- the color and the bill are just right, and I don't see any dark markings on the malar.

I think Johnnybirder was right. Definitely looks like a Thrush with the better picture.
