I have been observing this bird all day today snapping pictures when I could. We live in Arkansas and these pictures were taken today. This little guy seems to be very curious. He has been peaking at my door, living room window, and bedroom window. I was wondering what kind of bird this is and is this behavior common for this type of bird? It seems to follow me room to room peaking at the glass or perching on window seal looking in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Whatbird! This is a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, I believe. Very cool bird to have in your yard!

Nice bird - lucky you!!! He might be looking at his reflection. Has he tried to attack the glass?
