That limit of 20mb is the forum limit, eskimo. All I can say is to use the 'imgr' or Picassa system that many members use. Liam is good using this system and I think that the FAQ section has instructions posted by Platypus.

What about the gallery, Bigfoot? I actually have a couple of pictures worth posting but I'm well above the limit. My understanding is that I can't add to my gallery if I'm over the limit; is this correct?

The Gallery is a separate issue, you should be able to post to your gallery because the gallery setting is a Global setting.

Freebird There are filters In place that capture spammers. They also filter members that have not posted in a while. Keep posting and the filers will be removed.

Dear Commander of the Spammer Slammer Hammer,

I have been back on the forum posting normally for a month now, and still I cannot include a photo in a post. I have resized photos to the smallest, teensiest size possible and still no joy. No matter what I do or how long I leave it, it returns the same error - upload failed, etc etc.

It's really frustrating at this point to keep putting photos in my album and linking them to my post, can you please assist? Seems like the chicken and the egg, I cant post the photos, but need to keep posting to remove filters, SOS!

Freebird, I may not be the Commander of the Spammer Slammer Hammer, but I can help you.
You have simply run out of space in your album. You are well past the filtering process.

By where you attach a file, next to "Choose Files..." it should say something along the lines of "Used 464.59MB of your 19.53MB global upload quota (Max. single file size: 2MB)"

To upload normally again, you will have to either: use a different method, such as linking from an external site, or delete the photos you currently hold in your album.
