Help, I can not edit my profile or settings. I know that there are measures being used to keep out the spam. I'm hoping that by posting this message it will remove the filters and let me be able to edit/update my profile.

I've been visiting this site for a few days now, and I really enjoy the forums/info and pictures. I'm an amateur bird watcher who just bought a house with a big yard that borders an 8.5 acre woodland trail, there are a lot of birds here, I recently put out a feeder and I'm really curious to see if I can identify them all. So far I've been able to identify a handful of them thanks to the info on your wonderful site.

I'm looking forward to sharing some of my bird pics, and getting your help in helping me identify some of the many birds.

There are filters that stop the Hit and Run Spammers, Keep posting normally and the filters will be removed.

Hi Foot,

I'm having a problem uploading to my gallery. A few weeks ago I set it up so obviously I figured it out then. Now I want to add a new bird. I take the path: profile > edit profile > gallery > and hit the edit button. I can see nothing on that page that allows me to upload a new bird although I seem to recall one from before. Pilot error no doubt. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks Foot. I used a different sequence and it worked. I guess there's a reason I'm not an airline pilot.

Im sorry I seem to be having trouble uploading a picture for ID. Ive done it several times before so Im not sure why I am having difficulty now. When I browse and select my picture then attach file I keep getting the message that no file is selected. Im sure Im doing something wrong but cant figure out what. Thanks for any help.

Bufflehead, it could be that you've run out of space in your global upload quota. It'll tell how much space you have left by the attachment button:



As you can see, I'm way over my limit.
