What kind of Dove is this?

Just saw this bird in my yard in Southern Indiana about 10 minutes ago. He/she looked slightly bigger than a mourning dove. The coloring was a paler gray, almost white. The beak was black, the tail was square-ish, and there was black on the edges of the wings. All of these I have read to be signs of a Eurasian Collared Dove. However, this bird had NO collar at all.

Any suggestions?

It's possible that it's a young bird that hasn't grown in its collar yet.

Agree with EUCD - everything except the lack of collar points to this. I have a yard full of them & sometimes depending on how they're turning their heads the collar is hard to see.
