Looks more like a female Brown-headed Cowbird to me, but I could be wrong.

Looks like a HOSP to me. The bill looks too pale for BHCB and I think I can make out the the wing pattern of a female HOSP.

I very rarely see House Sparrows around my house. I only recently got my yardbird House Sparrow. They do seem to have been expanding here, though. Down the road they nest in martin houses. I see quite a few Brown-headed Cowbirds.
