They don't sit still. For the most part they spend about a second in one spot and rarely they stop to look around and decide where they want to go next and that averages about three second. On the rare occasion it may extend to 10 seconds. Yellow-rumped Warblers are the exception. They seem to be less wary of human presence than many birds and will hold a position 15 or more seconds which after chasing other warblers seems like an eternity. I have found warblers don't on the whole seem to care about human presence. Yellow Warblers are the exception and seem to have that wariness that most bird seem to have.Crazy good photos! How do you get them to sit still?
