All, just a few minutes back I had an interesting sighting it a tree some distance to where I was reading. With my bino's and camera close by I took a good look but am unsure. I suspect it is an American Redstart, (first year male if my Sibley can be trusted), a lifer for me if correct. My photos are unfortunately quite blurry, but I believe give a pretty good look just the same.

My location is in west Houston suburbs not far from a rather large wild area/flood control basin. Can you take a peek and give an opinion and (hopefully) a confirmation. Many thanks on this and for ALL the help you have provided.

I wish to thank everyone who replied, and helped me to a new lifer. This has been my "Year of warblers" for certain. Take care everyone..

Cheers
