I subscribed to What Birds Make a Guide and used it for groups of kids when we had little field trips. For some reason it's offline for months now and no one responds to the emails about it.

Does anyone know of any software that helps you created a mini field guide from a list of birds you've put in?

I am currently developing a Web App to do just that. I do not know how timely it will be for you, but I will post back here upon completion.

Also, what types of general functionality are you looking for?
