When I saw the male Grosbeak I posted a few days ago, then I saw more males, and then I saw this collection. A treasure!
It was challenging to photograph them in a group like this.

Thanks everyone for your input, and confirming that they were Male and Female Grosbeaks.
ant_anks, I'm not an expert at bird photography by any means. But I will be pleased to offer 'tips' as I can. I tend to use a rational approach to photography.
I'm preparing some info on a camera grip/strap that I find very useful and will post in the next day or so.

Man... I haven't seen Evening Grosbeaks in years. Maybe when I go up to ME/VT/NH for work in a few weeks.
