Taken today at West End 2, Jones Beach, NY. Saw three of these fly over and then a straggler. Sorry this is the best shot I could get.

I think I'm seeing a loon of some kind.

Yes. Common Loon in breeding plumage with a black bill, head and most of the neck; white underparts and white rump. Makes sense. We've got them here. Thank you.I think I'm seeing a loon of some kind.
