I'm not sure there is enough visible here to differentiate between summer and scarlet tanager. The wings looked brownish to me, but not strikingly black. Cardinal-sized.

I'll go with summer - it looks like a big yellowish bill in the firsr pic - but not 100%.

No Black wing rules out Scarlet. Not a Western. Summer Tanger 100%!
