5/7/12

Just got back from the DR for some R&R (what a beautiful place), but did get off a few shots of birds unknown to me. Here is a yellow and black bird, that I'm having trouble finding a match for. The black runs down his chest to a pronounced point, like an elongated triangle. Thanks for the help!

Looks like an introduced weaver. A little research shows that Village Weaver should be your only option.
