2. Some kind of sparrow? My best guess is Swamp but it wasn't acting like it.
3. Red-eyed vireo?
4. Lesser Yellowlegs? I couldn't get it to come out enough to see it's legs.

Taken today near Albany, NY.
1. UFO, seems to have yellow belly.

Pretty sure #1 aren't Cedar Waxwings. The shape doesn't look right, especially the wings. Waxwings have more triangular shaped wings in flight and tend not to show any distinct "fingers" like these birds. Also, it looks like the underwing coverts are a bit darker than the primaries and secondaries, when I'd expect a more uniform color on Waxwings (that could be the lighting though).
Having said that, I've got no good guess at what they are, although I think I see a little yellow on the belly of the middle bird. Am. Goldfinches?

I'm definitely getting American Goldfinch from that centre one. It even seems to have light axilliaries. The other two could be females with backlighting hiding the underwing pattern.

I have to agree that the primaries on waxwings fit the triangular wing shape. The primaries in these birds all appear to be the same length, giving the squared look. I don't necessarily agree with the "fingers", because I think that's dependent on the type of flight.
The forked tail does put it in the Am. goldfinch camp for me, then. Good points.
