This was taken last Friday in Point Pelee National Park (Ontario, Canada). The bird either had an injured leg or only had one leg because it was hopping around on just one the entire time I saw it. I'm having a little trouble identifying it though. Is it a Dunlin? Most of the Dunlin I saw last week had the black-ish bellies, but there did tend to be some mixed in that didn't.

Yes, a Dunlin in transition plumage. The long bill gives it off. The black on the belly is starting to molt in. Shorebirds often hop on one foot, even when they don't have to.

Yup, Dunlin due to the long droopy bill and black flecks on its stomach.

Thanks. I didn't know that about shorebirds hopping; I don't normally get to see too many around home, so my experience with them is pretty limited.
