I'm pretty confident about my IDs of most of these, but I'm such a newbie that I prefer to double check :)

2.White-crowned Sparrow
3.Short-eared Owl

What were you thinking one was, parus? I agree with Red-tailed Hawk.

I LOVE the first photo of the harrier with the foothills in the background. Beautiful.

I think #1 is a red-tailed hawk as well. It flew over me a little while later and I got a better look at it, and it looked pretty much like the other red-tail :)

Thank you! It is really lovely here. The environment makes a great background for wildlife photography, too...makes me want to improve my skills and invest in some better glass:
