They just started showing up at my feeder in pairs. They're the same size as the blue jays

Those are male Rose-breasted Grosbeaks

And what's nice is that where we live, they stick around and bring their babies to the feeder a little later in the summer.

Yes...that sounds nice. It is a thrill to just get a glimpse of one here in my area of SC. Can't imagine multiples & babies....
