I want to say Anhinga but he didn't look that big in the water? Taken today in Houston, Tx area, Brazos Bend SP

Male Anhinga, other known as "snakebird" because of its habit of sometimes swimming with just its head showing, like here. You can tell easily because of its real sharp, long, yellow beak. :)

Good timber does not grow with ease:

The stronger wind, the stronger trees.

The more the storm, the more their strength.

Unrelated to the ID - but when I first saw this post I thought it said FLESH eater and I was thinking "Wow - what kind of bird is that?!?!?!"
